5.UAG Integration with the Horizon Cloud Services Console

  1. On your ControlCenter server
    • Open your Site 1 Chrome browser
      • select the WS1 Cloud Console shortcut
        • https://console.cloud.vmware.com

 

  1. In the Console services login page
    • under Email address
      • enter your assigned login username
      • select NEXT
  1. In the Cloud Services page
    • in the password area
      • enter Pa$$w0rd
      • select SIGN IN
  1. In the Cloud Services page
    • under Workspace ONE Cloud
      • select LAUNCH SERVICE
  1. In the Workspace ONE Cloud Console
    • In the My Workspace area
      • below Services
        • Horizon Cloud area
          • select LAUNCH
  1. In the Horizon Universal Console
    • In the Menu pane
      • expand Resources
        • select Capacity
  1. In the Capacity area
    • on the Horizon Edges tab
      • note, that Unified Access Gateway is Not Configured
    • in line with Edge-Seattle,
      • select Not Configured
  1. In the Configure Unified Access Gateway window
    • under Load Balancer
      • next to Name
        • enter uag-hzn-avi02
      • next to FQDN or IP address
        • enter 172.16.50.100
          • select SAVE
  1. In the Add Unified Access Gateway window
    • below Gateways
      • select ADD
        • next to Name
          • enter uag-hzn-02a
        • next Management Endpoint
          • enter uag-hzn-02a.techseals.co
        • next to Username
          • enter admin
        • next to Password
          • enter Pa$$w0rd
            • select SAVE
  1. In the Add Unified Access Gateway window
    • below Gateways
      • select ADD
        • next to Name
          • enter uag-hzn-02b
        • next Management Endpoint
          • enter uag-hzn-02b.techseals.co
        • next to Username
          • enter admin
        • next to Password
          • enter Pa$$w0rd
            • select SAVE
  1. In the Gateways window
    • periodically select REFRESH
      • wait until the Status shows Ready for both UAG servers
  1. In the Horizon Universal Console
    • In the left Menu
      • below Resources
        • select Capacity
  1. In the Capacity window
    • on the Horizon Edges tab
      • in line with Edge-BLR
        • note, that Unified Access Gateway is Not Configured
    • select Not Configured
  1. In the Configure Unified Access Gateway window
    • under Load Balancer
      • next to Name
        • enter uag-hzn-avi01
      • next to FQDN or IP address
        • enter 172.16.20.100
          • select SAVE
  1. In the Add Unified Access Gateway window
    • below Gateways
      • select ADD
        • next to Name
          • enter uag-hzn-01a
        • next Management Endpoint
          • enter uag-hzn-01a.techseals.co
        • next to Username
          • enter admin
        • next to Password
          • enter Pa$$w0rd
            • select SAVE
  1. In the Add Unified Access Gateway window
    • below Gateways
      • select ADD
        • next to Name
          • enter uag-hzn-01b
        • next Management Endpoint
          • enter uag-hzn-01b.techseals.co
        • next to Username
          • enter admin
        • next to Password
          • enter Pa$$w0rd
            • select SAVE
  1. In the Gateways window
