  1. In the Workspace ONE Console
    • In the Services area
      • below Horizon Cloud
        • select LAUNCH
  1. In the Horizon Cloud Region window
    • select the United States box
    • next to
      • I have read, understand and agree to the VMware General Terms.
    • select the checkbox
    • select SAVE & CONTINUE

note these option are irreversible.  Do not play around do not select anything else other than what is instructed

  1. In the Horizon Cloud Control Plane window
    • Below the  Next-Gen Horizon Control Plane heading
      • click the SELECT button
  1. In the Next-Gen Horizon Control Plane window
    • select CONTINUE
  1. In the Enable VMware Operator Access to Agent Diagnostics Logs window
    • select I UNDERSTAND
  1. In the Welcome to VMware Horizon Universal Console window
    • In the Horizon 8 area
      • click the SELECT button
  1. In the What's a Horizon Edge? window
    • in the Horizon Edge area
      • select START DEPLOYMENT

OVA deployment will take about 5 minutes

  1. In the vSphere Client
    • select the Edge-GW-BLR virtual machine
      • right-click
        • in the Menu
          • select Power  >  Power ON

      • switch back to the Add Horizon Edge window
  1. In the Add Horizon Edge window
    • next to 6. Deploy and Pair Horizon Edge Gateway
      • Note next Pair Status
        • Pairing Successful
    • select NEXT

Keep Refreshing the area, using the right Refresh button , wait for Pairing to be Successful

  1. In the Add Horizon Edge window
    • next to 7. Connection Server
      • enter the following next to:
        • Connection Server URL
        • Credential Type
          • ensure the Username radio button is selected
        • Domain
          • techseals.co
        • Username
          • administrator
        • Password
          • Pa$$w0rd
    • select FINISH

Deploying Edge Services to Site 2 (Seattle)
