Horizon integration into Workspace ONE Access

Configuring Workspace ONE Access and Horizon Integration

  1. On your ControlCenter2 desktop open your Google Chrome browser and select the shortcut for Horizon administrator
  2. Under the Horizon Administrator (Flex) option and select Launch
  3. Select the lock icon in the address bar to the right of cs1-pd1.euc-livefire.com
  4. Next to Flash in the drop down box select Allow
  5. Select the back-end of the browser to close the Security window and then select Reload and login as administrator with the password VMware1! 
    • notice the domain is specified below euc-livefire
  6. Under View Configuration, Select Servers Select Connection Servers Tab select  Edit On the Edit Connection Server Settings page select the Authentication tab.
  7. In the top-left select the Drop down Arrow, change Disabled to  Allowed, Select the Manage SAML Authenticators box

4. On the Manage SAML Authenticators box  select Add and the Add SAML 2.0 Authenticator will open. Ensure Dynamic is selected, Next to Label: type Workspace ONE Access

5. Edit the Metadata URL with

https://YOUR CUSTOM Access URL/SAAS/API/1.0/GET/metadata/idp.xml

e.g. https://aw-euclivefirefran.vidmpreview.com/SAAS/API/1.0/GET/metadata/idp.xml

7. Click OK

8. On the valid certificate detected window, select OK

9. Click OK to close the Manage Authenticators window > Click OK to close the Edit Connection Server Settings window

10 . On the ContolCenter desktop, launch your Google Chrome Browser . Launch your Saas Instance of Workspace ONE Access and login as sysadmin

11. Login with the user name Admin and the password VMware1!

12. On the Catalog tab,  select Virtual Apps Collection

13. On the Introducing Virtual Apps Collection Page select Get Started

14. To the left in the Horizon box click the SELECT link

15. On the NEW Horizon Collection page type the follow next the following headers

Name : Horizon
In the Connector area accept the default ws1-connector.euc-livefire.com (LivefireSync)
Select Next

16. Step 2. Pod and Federation. select + ADD A POD

17 Under

Horizon Connection Server : cs1-pd1.euc-livefire.com
Username : [email protected]
Password: VMware1!

  • Select ADD
  • Select Next

18. On the Sync page under Activation Policy change User Activated to Automatic , Under the Default Launch Client select Browser

  • Select Next

20. Select SAVE & CONFIGURE NETWORK RANGE

21. Select FINISH

22. In the Virtual Apps Collections Window

  • Select the radio button next to Horizon
  • Select SYNC
  • On Calculating Sync Actions select SAVE
  • navigate to catalog \ virtual apps and notice your new virtual applications
